“A time for everything” was the slogan for this one that we put together for Captain Sango’s sold out 30th birthday. And indeed it was a time for everything. We had poetry and watercolour painting orchestrated by Samamba which was a great opportunity to tap into our inner children. Accompanied with acoustic performances and a sizzling DJ lineup down in the studio. We were hosted by the lovely girls at Buena Onda Social Club and we were right at home in their cozy space. Head upstairs to chat and play, head downstairs to dance. Leandro started us off with a nostalgic vinyl only underground house set, followed by Campbxell with a pulsating garage set, pushing the energy levels. Uzo closed with an improvised set taking many influences from a recent trip to London. Lots of fun surprises and twists in this one. Listen to it in full here (including a little birthday speech from Captain Sango himself)
Thanks for the great memories on this one guys 🫶🏽
It was time to make the leap of faith. From events, to a 3 day festival. Lighting installations, bespoke sound system, dancers, yoga & workshops. This was the real deal.
Uzo moved to Molí del Misso full time for the occasion. Taking time off work to get stuck in with preparations. Clearing spaces by day, programming light shows by night, managing artists and promotion duties in between, it was no small task. Thankfully the wonderful Molí del Misso team were on hand every step of the way. Couldnt’ve done it without them!
Na.B3 set about getting their installations ready for the night. What a treat we were in for. By the time the sun was setting it became clear these wasn’t your usual lighting installation. A snake like structure weaved off into the distance, covering hundreds of meters of fields as it delicately glowed and shimmered in the moonlight. Only those who took the time to walk along its path truly got to appreciate its other worldliness. Nonetheless, it still looked great from beneath the tree. Which itself was emanating bursts of light flashes that were nothing short of hypnotic. As always, videos don’t do it justice, but take a look for a flavor of what we’re on about.
Dan kicked off the workshops with a walkthrough of Fontana’s creative process in Ableton. Followed by a beautiful Kundalini healing workshop by Rudoelph around the fire we were all feeling re-aligned. Last up for the workshops was Uzo’s “toys which make more than noise” on music production gadgets and using them outside of their intended purpose.
Soon came the first boogie of the night in the catacoombs. And boogie we did, till the early morning of 6am. Fuelled by heavy hitters from Fontana, Uzo & Sammy Ekko. We were off to the races.
Before we knew it the sun had risen and it was time to catch a couple hours sleep before doing it all again. Saturday saw an influx of day ticket holders bringing fresh energy, ready to get stuck in.
With the sun out in full force, the poolside was where the action was taking place with DJ Noggin & Mr Spazio leading the charge with some feel good daytime tunes. It wasn’t long before Nasiri welcomed us down into the jungle with his the middle eastern sounds, guided by the inviting lights of Na.B3. Avoidavoid had a tough act to follow. Not that it seemed to phase them. Cal on the beats, Kikka on the vocals & flute. A killer combo we’ve come to love over the past couple years.
As the sunlight began to fade, it was time for the DJs to step in. COSM brought his dubby goodness, followed by Sammy Ekko with his weird and wonderful UK selections. The fire pit was lit and the tribal energy was in full swing. Just checkout the Bad Kingdom video from Uzo’s set. To close out the Jungle stage Laurie Purkiss treated us to some live soulful keys and vocals. And what a treat it was!
It was time for one last boogie in the catacoombs. With storming sets from DJ Noggin, Pekkuliar & Ozan Dalkilic, we went out with a bang. Music got darker and thick fog suitably began to fall into Molí del Misso’s valley. By the time Ozan had finished his set you couldn’t see further than 15 meters into the distance. It was ominous. We weren’t quite done though. A couple more hours of B2B from the in-house DJs was on the agenda. Tunes were getting weirder and darker. Broody dub techno followed by ambient soundscapes, there were no rules at this point.
By 8am we called it a day. It was time to huddle round the fire and soak up the spooky atmosphere outside. Most went to bed at this point. Those still standing went for a morning nature walk. It felt like something out of Lord of the Rings, not sure what you were going to encounter behind the next thick layer of fog. Boy was it an adventure. Catch some glimpses of the walk in the photos and videos.
Before heading home, we were in need of Rudoelph’s magical healing energy. Somewhere between Yoga Dance & Kundalini healing, whatever it was, it was the perfect healing touch we needed.
There were some final back 2 backs by the pool whilst we said our goodbyes and exchanged details.
What a lovely weekend it was, with our favorite people in our favorite place. Couldnt’ve asked for anything more.
Thanks to all those who made the weekend as magical as it was ❤️
Till the next one!

Part One (2 April 2022)
A collaboration with We Funked It Up for a Friday afterwork. Sold out nearly a week in advance we were set for a big party.
Bridge48 were our lovely hosts for this occasion. The chill area, complete with a bar, empanada stand and foosball was the perfect arena to kick off the evening. As the night progressed more people started to flock to the auditorium where the main event was kicking off. Sets from Soufyane, Julian, Mihai, Camacho & Uzo were on the agenda. Between Reclaimed and Inner Circle’s lighting rigs we had quite the visual show going in that room. Paula was also manning the live audio visual projection behind the stage providing us with some nice trippy visuals.
Things were heating up with Camacho's 9pm house set. Soon it was getting sweaty on the dance floor. Breaks to the upstairs terrace were an almost mandatory round trip. By 10pm it was time for Uzo’s Techno and Tangents closing set. As you can see in the full video below, it went down a storm. Unfortunately it had to be cut minutes short by Bridge48’s strict 11pm closing times. Not to worry, we knew we’d be back for round 2.
Part Two (2nd April 2022)
We were back, this time to dance for peace. We organized a fundraiser for Ukraine refugees. A tattoo artist offered temporary tattoos in exchange for donations to the cause. A percentage of ticket sales also went towards the cause. Music started in the lounge area this time to make the most of the sunshine on the terrace and the lounge / bar area as sunlight came through the big windows.
Sporting a more internationally diverse lineup this time we had Bastiaan & Liberesque from the Cabana Libre crew warming up proceedings, followed by Gera and Radu, Uzo, Camacho & Mihai closing us out.
As our party-goer Mark pointed out, it seemed that Bridge48 were pulling out full club setups out of their pocket like a magician as the night progressed. After unveiling the auditorium for Camacho's set people weren’t sure if they should expect a mystery 3rd room round the corner. Each room equipped with nothing less than state of the art CDJs, turntables and soundsystems.
Again, fuelled by Reclaimed’s lighting rig and Paula’s trippy audio visuals the atmosphere was set. Only superseded by Patry’s impromptu dancing on stage which was the cherry on top for a cracking evening.
A big thank you to Anna for capturing the moments with some cracking photos. Have a look below to get a flavor for the evening. And check out more of her work here.
Where it all started. Anti-system, restrictions and curfews. Pure freedom & hedonism in spaces reclaimed by nature.
